It sorta fizzled out. Despite being directly over HK this morning, the tropical cyclone weakened into a low pressure area. News reports say it's due to the influence of another tropical cyclone hot on the heels of Pabuk, nevertheless, several parts of HK did experience quite a lashing yesterday and early this morning. We were quite sheltered and barely heard more than the occasional raindrop against the window panes. Taiwan and the Philippines weren't so fortunate though. I think they got the brunt of it.
For what it's worth, this image shows the eye of the storm directly over HK... looks dramatic except for the fact that it's moving at 20km/h.

Thank God you are not in the path of the storm! *hugs*
Thanks Pet! The funny thing is that this morning, the storm has taken a 180 degree turn and is approaching us again :p Talk about fickle weather!
