Bye-bye IFC2, hello Eiffel Tower!

We’re off to Paris for the weekend and half of next week after our air tickets finally worked out. The itinerary for such a short trip? Some sights, some shopping and some wine

It will be good to get out of the path of the latest tropical depression and the cold front that’s descended upon us over the last few days… into a colder autumn climate. Yes, a relative chill hit us over the weekend - looks like summer is really on its way out despite the fact the typhoons don’t seem to have abated!

Got the latest edition of Time Out Paris from Dymocks today which set us back several HKD and doubled our Booklover points. Books in HK are expensive! Thank goodness for the well-equipped libraries: it costs a lot to build your own.

Ok, am off to have a good read… then it’s dinner with our visitors P & C from KL who are leaving for home tomorrow!
