The famous landmark is scheduled to be demolished later this year to make way for more commercial development. Despite a public outcry for its preservation it looks as though plans for demolition will go ahead. The Star Ferry is one of the cheaper ways to cross the harbour to Tsim Sha Tsui from Wan Chai - only HKD2.20. And it has this amazing, unsurpassable view of HK Island.
